About this program
EAW 2023 is an artist-in-residence project organized by Chinbo Studio and Chinbo Collective with companion Pho Ben Doi Creative Studio.
The participated individuals are young artists and art students. Participating individuals will have a week of activities in the Pho Ben Doi Creative Studio. After a week, everyone will hold an exhibition, and summarize what they have practiced.
There were 12 young artists, including four members of the organizing committee and eight participating artists. This project was sponsored by Salt Bakehouse, Modern Art Studio, Coo Production, Artist Din, Artist Tran Luong, and Assoc. prof Nguyen Van Minh.

This exhibition is the voices of each individual and is a space containing private thoughts, are doors.
The voices come from emptiness, thoughtful voices. A locked door separates personal things inside from outside. In this space, unlocked doors seek sympathy or face external criticism, and raise questions.
Does it provide strong security or is it merely a feeling?
Does empathy bring security?
Do those doors exist?
