Mahatup

Mahatup is a documentary film with two channels, showcasing the efforts of the people in Soc Trang, Vietnam.

The left side of the screen focuses on the land, water, and fences, while the right side of the screen describes the culture, way of life, and reforestation efforts. The work emphasizes the two battles that the Khmer people in Soc Trang are facing: they are determined to preserve their cultural identity, and the race against the sea as it encroaches on the land by planting tree fences to fix the land. The Khmer people are building fences to protect their work.
